The Scorpion EXO-R1 EVO Carbon Air Propel in Black Chameleon is the lightest, most track-focused helmet in the Scorpion range. A full 3K carbon shell keeps it around 1300 grams in size M, it carries the ECE 22.06 rating, and it ships with a Pinlock lens and a titanium D-ring closure that's accepted at any track day. The Propel graphic sits over a colour-shift base that moves between deep green and violet as the light changes.

Why the EXO-R1 EVO Carbon Suits Riders in Saudi Arabia
Weight over long distances. At around 1300 grams the carbon shell takes real load off your neck. On a 300 km run between Riyadh and Al Kharj, or a full track day at Jeddah, that difference shows up in how fresh you feel at the end.
Heat and airflow. The chin and top intakes are shaped in a wind tunnel to pull air through the helmet, and the rear spoiler draws hot air out. In summer you won't get cold air, but you'll get moving air, and the KwikWick III liner pulls sweat away from your skin. After a hard season, a fresh EXO-R1 Air liner set brings the fit and feel back to new.
Stability at speed. The AirFit system uses a small pump to inflate the cheek pads until the helmet grips your face. Less movement means less wind noise and no lift when you tuck in on the highway or the back straight.
Clear vision. The Pinlock lens is in the box, not an add-on, and the breath deflector keeps warm breath off the visor on cold morning starts. The tear-off posts are ready if you race.
Glasses and quick visor swaps. KwikFit pads have cut channels so glasses slide in without pressure. The Ellip-Tec II ratchet lets you switch to a dark EXO-R1 visor at the pump in under a minute, with no tools.
Track-day ready closure. The titanium Double-D ring is the closure track organisers ask for. It's lighter than steel, won't corrode, and the pull tab makes it quick to loosen with gloves on.

Important Note
Clean the carbon shell and painted surfaces with a soft cloth and mild soapy water only. Do not use solvents or polish. Replace any helmet after an impact, even if there is no visible damage.

After your order ships, you will receive a tracking number so you can follow your shipment until delivery.
You can cancel your order at any time before shipping at no charge. Special pre-order / reservation orders cannot be cancelled.
You may request a product return within 3 days of delivery, or an exchange within 7 days of delivery.
Return & exchange conditions
The product must be in its original unused condition, with the original invoice, original packaging, and all accessories included.
Returns or exchanges are not accepted if the product has been opened or its packaging tampered with, shows signs of use, damage, or improper storage, or if any accessories or parts of the original packaging are missing.
Excluded products
Some products cannot be returned or exchanged, such as: used products including footwear, clothing, and spare parts; electrical/electronic parts and batteries; personal protective clothing and gear after use or after removing accessories; and technical spare parts after installation or use.
Electronic products and batteries must be inspected within 48 hours of delivery.
Fees
When returning a resalable product, up to 25% of its value may be deducted.
For showroom purchases paid by bank card (Visa or Mastercard), if a return is requested more than 24 hours after purchase, an electronic payment processing fee of 2.5% applies.
How to return
You can request a return shipping label from customer service for SAR 30, or ship the product at your own expense.
Manufacturing defects & shipping errors
If the product has a confirmed manufacturing defect, or if a shipping error was made on our side, we will cover all related costs and provide a full refund including shipping fees.
Processing & refunds
Return and exchange requests are processed within two business days. After approval, the refund is issued the same day and may appear in your account within 1 to 7 business days depending on your bank.

Is the EXO-R1 EVO Carbon accepted for track days in Saudi Arabia?
Yes. Track organisers ask for two things: a current ECE 22.06 rating and a Double-D ring closure. The R1 EVO Carbon has both, so it's accepted at Jeddah and Riyadh track days. It isn't FIM homologated, so it's not for licensed championship racing.
What's the difference between the EVO Carbon, the EVO Air and the EVO II?
All share the same shape and features. The EVO Air uses a fiberglass shell; the EVO Carbon uses a 3K carbon shell and is lighter. The EVO II is the newer revision of the fiberglass and carbon line with updated graphics and minor refinements. This page is the EVO Carbon.
What is AirFit and do I need it?
AirFit is a small pump inside the chin bar that inflates the cheek pads. You use it to remove any looseness around your face so the helmet stays stable at speed. It also lets you fine-tune fit between sizes.
What comes in the box?
The helmet with clear visor fitted, a Pinlock 70 MaxVision lens, a breath deflector, the Prime helmet box and a helmet sack.
Where does an intercom mount on the R1?
The control unit clamps or sticks to the flat area on the left side below the visor pivot, and the speakers drop into the pockets moulded in the EPS. Sena and Cardo units fit; check the mount width if you use a clamp.
What does Black Chameleon look like?
The base is a colour-shift paint that reads deep green in shade and moves toward violet and bronze in direct sun. The Propel graphic and red accents sit over the top. Photos don't fully show it; the effect is stronger in person.
