AGV K1 S E2206 Kripton Black Orange 008 Helmet

The Kripton black and orange edition gives the AGV K1 S its boldest look yet. The gloss black shell carries sharp orange graphic lines across the sides and rear spoiler, so the helmet stays visible in traffic and stands out on track days. Underneath the graphics sits the same K1 S that came out of AGV's MotoGP program: a full face sport helmet certified to the new ECE 22.06 standard at a price that beginners and daily riders can actually afford.

Built from racing, made for the road

AGV shaped the K1 S shell in the wind tunnel used for its top racing helmets. The high resistance thermoplastic body cuts through air cleanly, and the rear Aero Spoiler keeps the helmet stable when you pick up speed on the highway. You feel the difference above 100 km/h: less buffeting, less neck strain, and a quieter ride when the chin curtain is fitted.

The Ultravision visor opens up a 190 degree horizontal view. That extra side vision matters most in city traffic, where cars appear from angles a narrow visor would hide. The visor resists scratches, comes off in seconds without tools thanks to the quick release mechanism, and accepts a Pinlock anti-fog lens if you ride in humid coastal weather.

Ventilation that works in real heat

Five adjustable front vents pull air in through the chin and crown, and two rear extractors push warm air out. This layout came straight from AGV's race helmets, where keeping the rider's head cool is a performance requirement, not a comfort extra. For riders in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, this is the feature to pay attention to. A helmet with weak airflow becomes unbearable in summer, and the K1 S is one of the few helmets in its price range with a genuinely effective vent system. Open everything for city riding in July, close the vents in winter or during sandstorms.

The interior helps too. The Dry-Comfort fabric lining wicks sweat away from the skin, and every pad comes out for washing, which matters when you ride in 40 degree weather and want the helmet fresh the next morning. The cheek pad design also leaves room for glasses, so riders who wear prescription lenses or sunglasses can put the helmet on without bending their frames.

What E2206 means on the box

E2206 refers to ECE 22.06, the current European safety standard for motorcycle helmets. It replaced the older 22.05 rule and added tougher tests: impacts at more points on the shell, at different speeds, and a new rotational impact test that measures how the helmet protects your brain in angled crashes, which is how most real accidents happen. A 22.06 helmet has passed all of this. The K1 S also uses a four density EPS liner and a lower shell edge profile designed to reduce collarbone injuries in a slide.

Ready for your intercom

The K1 S ships with speaker pockets and space for a universal communication system, so you can install most Bluetooth intercoms without cutting or forcing the padding. The Double D ring closure is the same type required in racing, simple to use and secure once you learn it.
