The Element colorway shares the exact same shell Alpinestars developed with MotoGP riders over a decade of testing, but with a completely different visual identity than the plain Solid version, in bold red, white, and carbon that gives it a stronger presence on the road or track.
What actually sets this helmet apart isn't just the look, it's the level of engineering detail most riders never notice at first glance.
A Visor That Changes Thickness on Purpose
Most helmets use one uniform visor thickness throughout. The R10's visor doesn't: it's 2.6mm thick at the front, tapering down to 1.6mm at the sides. That taper isn't random, it cuts weight at the edges without sacrificing direct frontal protection, and turbulators along the top edge improve aero-acoustic performance at high speed.
A Spoiler Designed to Let Go
The helmet ships with two interchangeable spoilers, standard and a longer race version, both mounted on elastic joints designed to let the spoiler detach from the shell if it takes a significant hit from any angle. The logic: instead of the spoiler absorbing an impact and transferring rotational energy into your head, it releases itself and cuts that energy down before it reaches you.
Ventilation Engineered by the Number, Not by Guesswork
The helmet has exactly 11 ventilation points, not counting the eye port, 7 intakes (3 at the chin, 4 up top) and 4 exhausts, including two lateral ones. That layout wasn't eyeballed; it was modeled with CFD simulation and validated in an actual wind tunnel before reaching production, the kind of engineering depth that separates it from most other full face helmets on the market.
An Interior That Moves With You, Not Against You
The inner EPS foam surface is coated to reduce friction, allowing the comfort liner to move more freely during lateral or oblique impacts, which lowers the rotational forces that reach your head and neck compared to a fully fixed standard liner.

Who This Helmet Is For
Same professional-level performance as the rest of the Supertech R10 line, built for track use or high-speed road riding, not calm daily commuting.
If you want the identical specification with a more neutral look instead of the bold red graphic, the plain Solid version from the same line offers matching performance in a simpler finish.
Prefer a different graphic on the same platform? The Team Red edition is another Supertech R10 currently in stock.

What's the actual difference between the Element and Solid versions?
The difference is purely visual, Element comes in a bold red/white/carbon graphic, while Solid is a plain carbon finish with no additional graphics. The technical specifications and protection level are identical between the two.
Why does the visor thickness change from front to sides?
To balance direct frontal impact protection with reduced overall weight at the edges, without compromising either.
Why is the spoiler designed to detach on impact?
To reduce the rotational force that reaches your head in a crash, instead of staying rigidly attached and transferring the full impact into the shell.
Exactly how many vents does it have?
11 total, not counting the eye port: 7 intake vents and 4 exhaust vents.
