Overview

The Arrow 71207CP is a complete, race-only exhaust system built entirely from titanium for the BMW S1000RR superbike (2019 Euro spec, 2020 to 2026) and M1000RR (2021 to 2024). It replaces the stock headers, catalytic converter, exhaust valve, link pipe and silencer with a 3.1 kg four-into-one system, cutting roughly 7.8 kg from the right side of the chassis. Arrow hand-builds it in San Giustino, Italy, using TIG welding, and supplies it with a removable dB-killer and two oxygen sensor ports. This is Arrow's Competition EVO line, the same design family that equips its Superbike and Supersport teams, and it is marked by Arrow for competition use only.

Key features

  • Full titanium construction: headers, link pipe, Pro-Race silencer, internals and end cap
  • 3.1 kg complete system weight against about 10.9 kg for the OE exhaust
  • Four-into-one titanium headers with larger section diameters than the stock collector
  • Pro-Race titanium silencer: conical body with ø98 mm cylindrical outlet, welded rearset-mount bracket, low and compact fit
  • Titanium link pipe ø50 to 65 mm
  • Removable race dB-killer supplied
  • Two oxygen sensor ports on the collector
  • Hand TIG-welded in Italy, laser-etched Arrow branding
  • Catalytic converter and OE exhaust valve removed

Fitment

Model Years Fits
BMW S1000RR (European spec) 2019 Yes
BMW S1000RR (US spec) 2019 No
BMW S1000RR 2020-2026 Yes
BMW M1000RR 2021-2024 Yes
BMW M1000RR 2025 onward No

Verify the year from your VIN before ordering, or Send us your VIN and we'll confirm the fit. The 2019 US-market S1000RR uses a different collector, and the 2025 M1000RR received revised mounting points; neither accepts this system without fabrication.

What's in the box

Titanium headers (4-into-1), titanium link pipe, Pro-Race titanium silencer with titanium end cap, removable dB-killer, silencer bracket and mounting hardware, Arrow fitting instructions. Header gaskets, ECU remap and any exhaust-valve eliminator plug are not included.

Installation and tuning notes

The 71207CP deletes the catalytic converter and the OE exhaust valve. BMW's engine control unit monitors that valve, so after installation it logs a fault and can enter recovery mode. Arrow's authorised dealers recommend a remap that deactivates the valve function and corrects fuelling for the open system; on the S1000RR this is a standard ECU flash. Fitting takes a workshop around two hours plus the flash. Most installers replace the four header gaskets at the same time. The system reuses the OE oxygen sensors in the two supplied ports.

Road use

Arrow classifies the 71207CP as competition use only. It carries no homologation certificate, has no catalytic converter, and exceeds public-road noise limits in the GCC and most other markets even with the dB-killer fitted. It is intended for circuit, drag strip and private track use.

71207CP vs 71206CP

Both systems share the Pro-Race titanium silencer and titanium link pipe. The 71207CP has titanium headers; the stainless-collector 71206CP has stainless steel headers. Titanium headers are lighter and hold their colour better under repeated heat cycles, which matters in 45°C summer track conditions. The stainless version costs less and is more tolerant of crash damage.

Does the 71207CP include a dB-killer?

Yes, a removable race dB-killer is in the box.

Does it fit a 2019 S1000RR?

The European-specification 2019 bike only. The 2019 US model is not compatible.

Does it fit the 2025 M1000RR?

No. Fitment ends with the 2024 M1000RR.

Is an ECU remap required?

Yes. The deleted exhaust valve triggers a fault; a remap that disables the valve function and adjusts fuelling is recommended.

What is the difference from the Akrapovič Evolution Line?

Both are full titanium race systems; the Arrow uses a rearset-mounted Pro-Race silencer and is sold competition-only, while Akrapovič offers both road-homologated and race versions. BoostBox stocks both.
