The MT Targo S full face helmet gives you the certification found on helmets costing three times as much, in a matt blue finish that hides dust and fingerprints better than any gloss shell (the same helmet is also sold as the Targo S matt black). It replaced the popular Targo Pro in MT's range, and almost everything that matters was upgraded in the process.

Why the ECE 22.06 badge matters
The 22.06 test hits the shell at more speeds and more points than the old 22.05 standard, and it measures rotational forces, the kind involved in most real crashes. The Targo S passes with margin to spare. For a first helmet, this single line matters more than anything else on this page.
Certified ECE 22.06. The same current standard carried by premium helmets from AGV and Shoei.
A visor system that solves the sun problem
Here is something competitor listings will not tell you: the Targo S has no internal drop-down sun visor. MT left it out to keep weight and price down. The patented MT-QVSS system is the answer, because the visor pops off in seconds without tools, even with the helmet on your head. Keep a dark visor in your bag for afternoon glare, and swap back to clear for the ride home. If you'd rather have the sun visor built in, the MT Thunder 4 SV adds one for a small step up in price.
Ventilation built for Saudi heat
Air enters through chin and crown intakes and exits through three rear extractors, so it keeps moving across your head instead of sitting there. On a July commute, that constant airflow is the difference between arriving fresh and arriving soaked.
A liner you can actually wash
The full interior comes out in about a minute. Sweat, dust and sunscreen rinse away with mild soap, and the breathable fabric dries overnight. Daily riders end up valuing this more than any other feature.
Care tip: hand-wash the liner in cool water with baby shampoo. Never machine-dry it, and clean the visor only with water and a soft cloth. Household glass cleaners attack the anti-scratch coating.
Bluetooth ready, no adhesive pads
The shell has a recessed UCS housing, the fitting that intercom makers are adopting as standard. A compatible Bluetooth intercom sits flush inside the helmet rather than hanging off the side. Non-UCS intercoms still mount the usual way, so no brand lock-in.
Who is this helmet for?
New riders get current-standard protection at an entry price, with a buckle that closes in one click. Daily commuters get the washable liner and airflow that make a helmet liveable five days a week. Touring riders get Pinlock readiness for early starts and a clean intercom fit for group rides. Sportbike riders get a compact, stable shell at highway speeds without the neck strain of heavier lids.

How do I find my correct size?
Follow these three steps:
- Wrap a soft tape around your head about 2.5 cm above your eyebrows.
- Match the measurement to the chart: 57 to 58 cm is Medium, 59 to 60 cm is Large.
- If you land between two sizes, choose the smaller one. The padding softens with use, and a loose helmet protects poorly.
Can I wear glasses with the Targo S?
Yes. The cheek pads have channels that let glasses' arms slide in without pressure. Put the helmet on first, then your glasses.
Does it have a sun visor?
Not an internal one. The practical solution is a dark or mirrored MT-V-14B visor, which swaps onto the helmet in seconds thanks to the quick-release system. Many riders keep both visors and change them like sunglasses.
Which Bluetooth intercoms fit?
Any intercom sold in a UCS version drops straight into the recessed housing. Standard units from Cardo, Sena and others still mount with their normal clamp or adhesive kits.
Is the anti-fog lens included?
The visor is prepared for one, but the Pinlock DKS209 insert is sold separately. In Saudi Arabia most riders only need it for winter dawn rides.
How long does a helmet last?
About 5 years with regular use, or immediately after any impact. Store it away from direct sunlight and fuel fumes, which age the shell faster.
