Most graphic helmets cover the shell in paint. The Cynergy does the opposite. Thin red lines trace the shape of the EXO-R1 EVO Carbon Air and leave the 3K carbon weave on show across the crown, the sides and the chin bar. Under it is Scorpion's lightest race full face helmet: an Ultra-TCT carbon shell of about 1300 grams, ECE 22.06 certified, with a titanium Double-D ring, the AirFit inflatable fit system and both a Pinlock lens and a dark smoke visor in the box.

Key Features of the EXO-R1 EVO Carbon Air Cynergy

  • Exposed 3K carbon weave with a minimal red Cynergy line graphic
  • ECE 22.06 certified for road and track-day use
  • Ultra-TCT carbon fiber shell, three shell sizes, approx. 1300 g in size M
  • Wind-tunnel shaped shell with rear spoiler for stability at speed
  • Titanium Double-D ring closure with pull tab
  • AirFit inflatable cheek pads to remove play between helmet and face
  • Ellip-Tec II ratchet, tool-free visor swap, visor lock, City Position
  • Clear visor fitted, dark smoke visor and Pinlock 70 MaxVision in the box
  • Tear-off posts on the visor for racing
  • Chin and top intakes tuned in the wind tunnel, spoiler exhaust
  • KwikWick III antimicrobial liner, removable and washable
  • KwikFit channels for glasses, 3D Contour Fit padding
  • Emergency Release cheek pads
  • Speaker pockets moulded into the EPS
  • Breath deflector included

What the Cynergy Gives a Sport Rider in Saudi Arabia

Carbon you can see. The Cynergy graphic is deliberately light so the weave stays visible. Under the sun it picks up depth in a way painted shells don't, and the red lines follow the vents and spoiler rather than fighting them. It looks right on a red Ducati, a black GSX-R or a white BMW. If red is too much for your bike, the same graphic comes as the EXO-R1 EVO Carbon Cynergy White.

Stable when you open the throttle. The R1 EVO shell was shaped in a wind tunnel and the rear spoiler keeps the back of the helmet planted. Pair that with AirFit, which pumps the cheek pads tight, and the helmet stops trying to lift when you sit up at 160 on the highway to Dammam.

Two visors from day one. The clear visor is fitted, the dark smoke visor is in the box, and the Pinlock lens is there for either. That covers Saudi daylight, night riding and humid coast mornings without a single extra purchase. Swapping takes seconds with the Ellip-Tec II ratchet.

Weight where it matters. A 1300 gram helmet is a different experience from a 1600 gram one, like the polycarbonate Scorpion EXO-491, after two hours. Your neck notices on a sport bike where you're already leaning forward. The three shell sizes also mean a size S rider doesn't wear an oversized shell.

Race closure, everyday practical. Titanium D-rings are what the track requires. They're lighter than steel, don't corrode in coastal humidity, and the pull tab makes them quicker to release than most riders expect.

Air in, heat out. The chin intake feeds the visor and your face; the top intake feeds the crown; the spoiler pulls hot air out the back. In summer the airflow is steady at speed, and the KwikWick III liner washes out the sweat afterwards.

Room for an intercom and for glasses. Speaker pockets are moulded into the EPS. KwikFit cheek pads have channels for glasses arms. Neither needs cutting or modifying. Compatible units are in our motorcycle Bluetooth intercom collection.

Who Buys the Cynergy?

Sport bike riders who want the carbon visible, not hidden under paint.

Riders who ride day and night and want the dark visor included, not bought separately.

Track-day riders who need ECE 22.06 and a Double-D closure and want the lightest helmet that clears the gate.

Riders comparing the Cynergy with the Propel: same helmet, same price. The Propel covers the shell in a colour-shift paint; the Cynergy leaves the weave exposed with a line graphic. Choose on looks.

Boost Box keeps Saudi stock of the Cynergy as Scorpion's authorised distributor for the Kingdom, alongside the rest of the Scorpion EXO range. Orders ship from Al Khobar, usually within a day, and reach Riyadh and Jeddah in about two working days.

What's the difference between the Cynergy and the Propel?

Only the graphic. Both are the EXO-R1 EVO Carbon Air with the same shell, certification, closure and box contents. The Propel uses a colour-shift paint that covers the carbon; the Cynergy keeps the carbon weave exposed with thin red or neon yellow lines.

Is the Cynergy the EVO or the EVO II?

The EVO. The EVO II is the newer revision with a revised noise structure and updated graphics. The EVO Carbon Air shares the same shell, weight, ECE 22.06 rating and features, and is usually available at a lower price while both are on sale.

Can I ride with the dark smoke visor at night?

No. The dark smoke visor is for daylight only. Swap to the clear visor for night riding; it takes a few seconds with the Ellip-Tec II ratchet and no tools.

How much lighter is the carbon R1 than the fiberglass R1 EVO Air?

Roughly 100 to 150 grams depending on size. It doesn't sound like much on paper, but on a sport bike where your neck is already working, it's the difference riders mention most after switching.

How do I set up AirFit properly?

Put the helmet on, fasten the D-ring, then squeeze the pump behind the chin bar until the cheek pads hold your face firmly with no gap but no pressure on your jaw. Release a little if you feel your cheeks pushed up. Reset it each time you ride in different weather, since the padding compresses more in heat.

Does the red graphic scratch or peel?

The lines are under the clear coat, not stickers, so they wear the same as the rest of the shell. Clean with a soft cloth and mild soapy water and avoid solvents on the carbon.
