What you see is the actual structural fiber that makes this Nolan X-Lite flagship one of the most serious racing helmets money can buy, certified to ECE 22.06 and shipped with two visors and a Pinlock in the box.

Why Riders Pay Extra to See the Weave
Because the weave is the engineering. On a painted helmet you take the carbon on faith. On the Puro you can read it: the continuous fiber pattern flowing over the shell is the same material doing the protecting, laid visibly enough that any flaw would show. Exposed weave is the manufacturer working without a curtain, and that is precisely its appeal.
Because gloss carbon ages like jewelry. The deep clearcoat over the weave gives the shell that liquid, three-dimensional look that shifts with the light, dark in shadow, golden-brown highlights in the sun. Photographs never quite capture it. Parked at a cafe, this helmet gets picked up and turned over in people's hands.
Because the machine underneath is the full X-804 RS. The ultrawide flat visor for corner vision, the SVLS lock, the adjustable LAF and LPC interior that fits heads other helmets cannot, wind tunnel ventilation, the removable racetrack spoiler, hydration readiness, and the NERS emergency system. Two visors and a Pinlock arrive in the box, so bright Gulf afternoons are covered from day one with the dark Track Only shield, and an iridium silver X-804 RS visor is there if you want a mirrored finish to match the carbon.
One racing trade-off, told straight. Like the rest of the X-804 RS range, there are no speaker pockets. An intercom can be fitted with patience, but riders who live on their comm system should weigh that first. This helmet spends its budget on shell and fit, not wiring channels.
The Rider Who Chooses Puro
The rider who believes carbon should look like carbon and considers paint on a weave a small tragedy. The track day photographer's favorite subject. The collector building toward one reference racing helmet rather than three compromises. And the rider whose bike already wears exposed carbon parts and wants the helmet to complete the sentence.
Prefer the same weapon in stealth? The Triplonero version of this exact helmet wears matt black over the carbon, all shadow, no shine. Same shell, same certification, same interior systems, different personality. Both live in our store, one click apart.
Wear the Material Itself
Two visors, a Pinlock, an interior you can tune, the newest certification, and a shell that shows you exactly what you paid for. The X-804 RS Ultra Carbon Puro is the racing flagship with nothing to hide, and the reference point for every carbon full face helmet we stock. Order now with fast delivery across Saudi Arabia and all Gulf countries, and if you are deciding between Puro and Triplonero, send us a message, it is a one-question conversation: shine or shadow?

Is the exposed carbon structural or just a cosmetic layer?
Structural. The visible weave is the outer layer of the actual Ultra Carbon shell that earns the ECE 22.06 certification, finished under a protective gloss clearcoat. This is not a carbon-look sticker over plastic; it is the material itself on display.
Does sunlight damage exposed carbon over time?
The gloss clearcoat carries the UV protection, and it is the layer that shields the resin beneath. Store the helmet indoors rather than on a parked bike in direct summer sun and the finish stays deep and even for the helmet's whole service life.
How do I clean gloss carbon without swirl marks?
Rinse dust off with water first, then wash with mild soap and a clean microfiber, and never dry-wipe a dusty shell. Treat it like a piece of painted bodywork, because effectively it is one.
What is the difference between Puro and Triplonero?
Finish only. Puro shows the glossy naked weave; Triplonero covers the same carbon in matt black. Certification, weight, visors, interior systems, everything mechanical is identical. Choose with your eyes.
Is it worth it over a painted fiberglass racing helmet?
Carbon buys lower weight for the same strength, which your neck feels every session, and this shell passed the newest 22.06 protocol. The exposed weave is the bonus on top: you are wearing the argument.
