Most "kids" motorcycle helmets sold online are toys with stickers. This one is not. The MT Stinger 2 Kids carries genuine ECE 22.06 and DOT certification, the same current European standard adult helmets must pass, tested on child-sized headforms. If your child rides with you, on a pillion seat, a quad, or a junior bike, this is the difference between head protection and head decoration.
It's built on the same platform as the adult Stinger 2, the helmet whose adult version earned a full 5-star rating in the UK government's SHARP crash testing in 2025. For the Kids model, MT didn't just shrink the padding inside an adult shell, which is how cheap brands make "youth" helmets and why they sit huge and loose on small heads. The Stinger 2 Kids has its own dedicated child shell, built around three youth sizes: YS for 47–48 cm heads, YM for 49–50 cm, and YL for 51–52 cm, covering roughly ages five to twelve.
Light enough for a young neck
At around 1,400 grams, it's noticeably lighter than adult full face helmets, and on a child's neck every gram counts, both for comfort and for safety in a fall. The HIRP shell keeps the weight down while doing the impact work, over an EPS liner sized for children's heads.

The clear visor is anti-scratch and swaps off in seconds without tools, useful when it inevitably gets sticky fingerprints. It's ready for a Pinlock DKS435 or Fog-Off FOG014 anti-fog insert, sold separately. A nose deflector comes fitted, easing breathing and reducing fogging when excited kids breathe hard.
The ventilation channels keep air moving in the heat, and the whole interior lining pulls out and machine-washes, because children and clean helmet liners don't naturally coexist.
The micrometric buckle closes with a ratchet click and opens with one pull, easy enough for the child to manage, secure enough that it won't come loose. There's even a housing for a universal intercom, so a parent-child Bluetooth setup fits cleanly for rides together.

After your order ships, you will receive a tracking number so you can follow your shipment until delivery.
You can cancel your order at any time before shipping at no charge. Special pre-order / reservation orders cannot be cancelled.
You may request a product return within 3 days of delivery, or an exchange within 7 days of delivery.
Return & exchange conditions
The product must be in its original unused condition, with the original invoice, original packaging, and all accessories included.
Returns or exchanges are not accepted if the product has been opened or its packaging tampered with, shows signs of use, damage, or improper storage, or if any accessories or parts of the original packaging are missing.
Excluded products
Some products cannot be returned or exchanged, such as: used products including footwear, clothing, and spare parts; electrical/electronic parts and batteries; personal protective clothing and gear after use or after removing accessories; and technical spare parts after installation or use.
Electronic products and batteries must be inspected within 48 hours of delivery.
Fees
When returning a resalable product, up to 25% of its value may be deducted.
For showroom purchases paid by bank card (Visa or Mastercard), if a return is requested more than 24 hours after purchase, an electronic payment processing fee of 2.5% applies.
How to return
You can request a return shipping label from customer service for SAR 30, or ship the product at your own expense.
Manufacturing defects & shipping errors
If the product has a confirmed manufacturing defect, or if a shipping error was made on our side, we will cover all related costs and provide a full refund including shipping fees.
Processing & refunds
Return and exchange requests are processed within two business days. After approval, the refund is issued the same day and may appear in your account within 1 to 7 business days depending on your bank.
