The Scorpion EXO-R1 Evo 2 Carbon Air is the updated version of the EXO-R1 that riders raced on tracks around the world. Scorpion took the same racing shape, rebuilt the shell in full carbon fiber, and certified it to the newer ECE 22.06 standard. The result is a full face helmet that weighs around 1437 grams in size M, which puts it among the lightest carbon helmets you can buy today. The Onyx version comes in a clean solid black carbon finish that shows the carbon weave under the coating.
Built for speed, certified for the street
The shell uses Scorpion's TCT-U 3K carbon fiber weave. Carbon spreads impact energy across a wide area instead of one point, and it does this at a much lower weight than fiberglass or polycarbonate. The EXO-R1 Evo 2 Carbon passed the ECE 22.06 tests, which include rotational impact checks that the older 22.05 standard never had. It closes with a double D ring, the same closure required on race tracks, and it has an emergency quick release system so medics can remove the cheek pads safely after a crash.
The helmet comes in three shell sizes. This matters because your head gets a shell that actually matches its size, so the helmet looks smaller and balances better instead of feeling like a bubble.
Comfort that you can adjust yourself
Most helmets loosen up after a few months and there is nothing you can do about it. This one has Scorpion's Airfit system. Press the red pump button inside the chin bar and the cheek pads inflate until the fit is snug again. Press the release button and they deflate. Simple.
The interior is a KwikWick 3 liner that pulls sweat away from your skin, which makes a real difference in Saudi summer heat. It is fully removable and washable. The helmet is also glasses friendly, so riders who wear glasses can slide them in without pressure points. The fit shape is intermediate oval, the most common head shape among riders.
Airflow made for hot weather
A large ram air intake at the front pushes air through channels cut into the EPS liner, and four exhaust ports at the back pull the hot air out. At highway speed the airflow is constant, which is exactly what you want riding between Al Khobar and Riyadh in July. The rear spoiler keeps the helmet stable at high speed and cuts drag and lift.
Noise is under control too. Independent testing measured around 96 decibels at 130 km/h, which is quiet for a racing helmet, and the chin curtain blocks wind noise from below.

You may request a product return within 3 days of delivery, or an exchange within 7 days of delivery.
Return & exchange conditions
The product must be in its original unused condition, with the original invoice, original packaging, and all accessories included.
Returns or exchanges are not accepted if the product has been opened or its packaging tampered with, shows signs of use, damage, or improper storage, or if any accessories or parts of the original packaging are missing.
Excluded products
Some products cannot be returned or exchanged, such as: used products including footwear, clothing, and spare parts; electrical/electronic parts and batteries; personal protective clothing and gear after use or after removing accessories; and technical spare parts after installation or use.
Electronic products and batteries must be inspected within 48 hours of delivery.
Fees
When returning a resalable product, up to 25% of its value may be deducted.
For showroom purchases paid by bank card (Visa or Mastercard), if a return is requested more than 24 hours after purchase, an electronic payment processing fee of 2.5% applies.
How to return
You can request a return shipping label from customer service for SAR 30, or ship the product at your own expense.
Manufacturing defects & shipping errors
If the product has a confirmed manufacturing defect, or if a shipping error was made on our side, we will cover all related costs and provide a full refund including shipping fees.
Processing & refunds
Return and exchange requests are processed within two business days. After approval, the refund is issued the same day and may appear in your account within 1 to 7 business days depending on your bank.

Is the Scorpion EXO-R1 Evo 2 Cardo ready?
Yes. The helmet has built in speaker pockets and space along the neck roll for a clamp or adhesive mount, so Cardo units like the Packtalk Edge and Sena systems install cleanly without pressing on your ears.

What is the difference between the Evo 2 Carbon and the fiberglass version?
Both share the same shape and features. The carbon shell is lighter and disperses impact energy better, while the fiberglass version costs less. If you ride long distances or track days, the weight saving is worth it.
What head shape does this helmet fit?
Intermediate oval, slightly longer front to back than side to side. This is the most common head shape. The Airfit cheek pads let you fine tune the fit after purchase.
Is it good for summer riding in Saudi Arabia?
