Every rider knows the sentence: sorry mate, I didn't see you. The Shark Skwal 2 answers it with integrated LED lights built into the shell itself, front and rear, glowing at the highest point of your silhouette where car drivers' eyes actually land. Wrapped in the Hallder black and red graphic, this is Shark's famous visibility helmet with a sport-touring spec sheet underneath: sun visor, Pinlock MaxVision in the box, and a micrometric buckle.

Key Features

  • Integrated LED lights front and rear, with steady and blinking modes
  • Rechargeable LED battery: around 5 hours steady or 10 hours blinking per charge, roughly 5,000 recharge cycles, USB cable included
  • Hallder graphic in black, red, and anthracite
  • Injected thermoplastic resin shell with multi-density EPS
  • Certified ECE 22.05, with ACU Gold approval for track days on this generation
  • Internal UV380 sun visor, anti-scratch, operated by a switch near the left ear
  • Optical Class 1 MaxVision visor, anti-scratch, tool-free removal
  • Pinlock MaxVision anti-fog lens included in the box
  • Autoseal visor system that pulls the shield tight against the gasket, blocking water, air, and noise
  • Micrometric buckle for one-motion open and close
  • Adjustable top and chin vents with glove-friendly sliders, rear extractor under the spoiler
  • CFD-designed aerodynamics with a distinctive lowered rear spoiler
  • Removable, washable interior

What the Skwal 2 Does That Other Helmets Don't

It makes you visible before headlights do. Reflective strips need a car's beam to hit them. The Skwal 2's LEDs make their own light, at head height, where a driver glancing at a junction actually looks. Set them steady or blinking with a press, charge the battery over USB like a phone, and a full charge covers around five hours steady or ten blinking. For anyone riding at night, and in the Gulf summer that means most of us, this is the feature that changes the odds.

The visor seals like a more expensive helmet. Shark's Autoseal system pulls the shield hard against its gasket when closed, which keeps out water and cuts wind noise, a trick usually found a price class higher. The Pinlock MaxVision anti-fog lens is included, covering nearly the full view instead of a narrow strip, and a dark smoke Skwal 2 visor swaps in without tools when you want a tinted shield for daylight.

Sun handled, honestly described. The internal UV380 sun visor drops with a switch by your left ear and covers your view well. One honest note most listings skip: this sun visor carries no anti-fog coating, so on a humid morning crack the main visor open for a moment if it mists. In dry inland air you will never notice.

Daily-friendly everywhere else. Micrometric buckle that works with gloves, glove-friendly vent sliders, tool-free visor changes, and a washable interior. This helmet was designed by people who ride to work, then added lights because they also ride home after dark.

Made for the Rider Who Rides After Dark

The commuter heading home after sunset five days a week. The Gulf rider whose season flips to night riding all summer, when the streets fill after Isha and the temperature finally drops. The delivery rider spending hours in traffic where being noticed is the whole game. And the rider who simply loves that no other full face helmet on the road lights up like this one.

If you never ride in the dark and want the newest certification generation instead of the LED system, look at the Shark D-Skwal 3 in our store, same family DNA, ECE 22.06, no lights. Different tools for different rides, and it is the model to check first if your size has already sold out here.

Light Up Your Next Night Ride

Integrated LEDs, a sealed visor with Pinlock included, a sun visor for the day half of your riding, and a graphic that looks fast standing still. The Skwal 2 Hallder is the most visible helmet in our store, in every sense. Order now with fast delivery across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, and if you ride mostly after dark, this is the one we would put in your hands first.

Are the LEDs legal to use on the road?

LED position and use rules vary by country. In most places passive extra lighting on a helmet is tolerated or unregulated, and the lights are independent of the bike's systems. Check your local traffic regulations if in doubt, and note the blink mode draws the most attention where it is permitted.

Is ECE 22.05 still a safe and valid certification?

Yes. It remains a legally valid European approval, this generation also carries ACU Gold track approval, and the closely related earlier shell scored four stars in the independent SHARP impact test. The newer 22.06 protocol is stricter, and helmets certified to it, like the Skwal i3 or D-Skwal 3, cost accordingly. The Skwal 2 trades the newer sticker for the LED system at a friendlier price.

What happens when the LED battery runs out mid-ride?

Nothing changes about the helmet itself; the lights simply turn off until you recharge over USB. The LEDs are a visibility bonus, never something the helmet depends on.

Does the sun visor fog up?

It can in humid conditions, since it has no anti-fog layer, unlike the main visor which takes the included Pinlock. A one-second crack of the main visor clears it. Inland riders in dry air rarely see it happen.

Can I fit an intercom?

Yes, the interior accepts common systems and there is mounting space on the shell side. Just position the mount clear of the rear LED area.
