Carbon-aramid shell: where the low weight comes from

Carbon gives the shell its rigidity; aramid, the same fiber family used in protective armor, adds flexibility that absorbs impact energy. Together they deliver more protection than thermoplastic at less thickness and far less weight, which is why the combination lives in MotoGP-class helmets.

Protection beyond the ECE 22.06 standard

The current European ECE 22.06 standard tests helmets with impacts across multiple points and speeds plus a rotational test simulating the angled crashes most common in real life. Beneath the shell sits a five-density EPS liner distributed by head region, finished with a lower edge profiled to protect the collarbone.

Five-vent ventilation with rear extraction

Two chin vents operate on a single switch, three brow vents each carry an independent slider, and an always-open rear extractor pulls hot air and moisture out. The layout gives fine control: open everything in summer, or close only the brow vents on dusty days. And with the low weight, you also lose the extra strain-heat that a heavy helmet adds to your neck in hot weather.

Panoramic visor with 190-degree view

The 190 degree horizontal field makes blind-spot checks easier with less head movement, and the 85 degree vertical field means you see your dashboard and the far road together without lifting your chin. The visor runs up to 4.3 mm thick with an anti-scratch coating and UV protection, and it removes and refits in seconds without tools, so swapping in a dark smoke visor for bright daylight takes about a minute.

Interior built from specialist fabrics

Cheek pads in soft Ritmo fabric make the helmet easy to put on and take off, Shalimar fabric at the cheekbone holds it stable at speed, Microsense technology comforts sensitive skin, and the water-repellent neck roll resists wear.
